I did say something there. I don't know if anyone listened to me.

https:// videos will often play but only for you... (nobody else sees it).
Videos that have unskippable adverts at the start seem to cause problems in Tig's standalone (generally ones that are on Vevo).
Some ideas if you encounter this bug: Swapping to Baffler's standalone seems to fix the problem for most people
Reloading the tribehouse map you are currently on often helps, "/np" (I reload before playing anything on the screen)
Check the link to make sure it is "www.youtube.com/watch?v=#######"
The picture seems to stretch to the full screen size when it is bugged such that only you can see it, thats a good sign to /np, check the link and try again.
