Hotkey are basically when you press a key, it does a task for you.
In Transformice, if you press 1-0 as shamanm you are able to spawn shaman objects (and is convient + fast)
In Survivor, The 1st 3 options are cannons, so basically you would be spamming cannons

I can be biase to the older survivor, but i feel hotkeys.. is not going to help the minigame.
I look at survivor as a training spot so in normal rooms, you can defend yourself or attack those that trolls.
I mean there is no cannon hotkeys in other rooms. so using hotkeys is not improving your creativity, skills and ideas.

And actually when the 1st implentation of hotkeys, many of the old players left. No one was willing to take anymore survivor tutors (in cfm) and seeing the act of "laziness" , sometimes i feel i am not too happy playing survivor, which i once loved.

but even so i know that we are not really allowed to remove new things that are implented. And looking at the majority not supporting, i would say i would give it a /half support

They're like a shortcut to spawn objects, instead of moving your mouse to the items, then moving it back to the desired area.

Instead, you would just press a number key (if you're in survivor, let's say you want to spawn a cannon; you'd press 1) and spawn in the desired area. It's a faster way to spawn items as a sham.
