• Underrat (2 pts)
A mouse is not the first to get cheese, but is the first in the hole. Not uncommon but always awesome when it happens, this bonus would award mice for their nice victory from behind.

• Blur of Fur (4 pts)
A mouse is not only first to the hole, but first by at least 10 seconds. This is really rare, but even more epic when it happens. This is achieved by radical shortcuts (or by hacking, but you'll get banned before the points can benefit you) and just plain proness.

• Foot Start (2 pts)
After the timer has counted down to 0, a mouse waits another 3 seconds before moving and still manages to come out within the top 3. This is a nice risky bonus where confidence is an important factor and if you're finding it easy to first can challenge yourself by giving others a headstart.

This sounds more like just things you can chalenge yourself to rather then get points for it, not really needed in my opinion.

I agree stats are also a bad idea. Cheese too, why not just give us every item in the shop when we start? Why work towards anything? Let's just "challenge ourselves" for no outcome~

I disagree; coming "first" isn't the foundation of the game at all, and Fxie's suggestion here will provide for a fun new experience.

You should totes check my post right at the top of this page

You can only get +2 points from anything other than getting first in more unique ways (which is... still getting first). The 4 points are for players who get killed by ice (which means you can't even get the 10 cheese points, so it's still 12 entire points lower than first) and the 10 shaman points are... for the shaman. Who isn't racing.

This doesn't come close to replacing the 1st-3rd points system, and if anything enhances it with 3 of the bonuses being for getting first to begin with.

Some of them shouldn't count in shaman maps like underrat and footstart because you are just waiting for the shaman to build so you can do them without risk.

It's not complex at all to check for relationships between times, or whether or not you used something.

I like all the suggestions except "Foot Start (2 pts)". To be honest, I don't think waiting three seconds can makes a big difference since in many maps (like P4, some P5, many P6, P8 and some P9), there isn't any race which starts before 1:54.

Love this idea. Its exactly what tfm was missing. Its almost like those little trophies you get awarded in some games for doing something specific. Plus it will make being shaman quicker a bit easier for those who want to be shaman quicker. Support.

The purpose of Transformice is to get cheese and then get it back to the hole before anyone else. not try and get to the highest spot in the map. I realize there were other ones you suggested, but in general the game was intended as a racing game between players. I know you and many others are very big into the shamming aspect which is fine. The double points for P4 is a great idea (another one of your threads), but adding shaman points just because you got cheese second and ended up first is pointless.

The purpose of transformice is also to kill everyone.
The purpose of transformice is also to infect other mice with the weremice virus.
The purpose of transformice is also to race.

Racing is just one minigame in Transformice. The main game--which this suggestion applies to--has no specific "purpose." As it is, "pros" play it as a shit version of racing with saves. This suggestion adds purpose to fill that void where it's nothing but a version of racing you use to get saves.
