Ramenfrog a dit : That's crazy. I peek at it through my WOT warning, so I didn't get a good look, but that's a lot of bans. Vivihi a dit : It's silent because no one bothers to talk... as soon as a conversation starts, it gets taken over. I usually play in Vanilla... maybe it makes a difference. |

Vivihi a dit : Yep, me too. And it's always like this when I play there. I just checked vanilla, racing, bootcamp and survivor too. The only one that isn't dead quiet is survivor and they're speaking English. |

It may just be the times of the day I play, too, I guess. I usually play before most kids in the US would be out of school, and I play late at night when players in Europe and further ahead in hours than I am are starting to log on. If you play frequently in EN2, you know what I'm talking about. |

EN2 filters aside, I think the time of day is a major factor. In EN1 I'll be chilling in Bootcamp oh idk...2am EST. And BAM 20 BRs fly out of the woodwork and its like holy carpe. Even with the ./watch function the speech bubbles are so insane I need to leave to a new room. :c |

Ramenfrog a dit : We get that a lot... it seems like it's mainly Russians and the French, though. xD |

I can count on one hand the number of wrong language reports I've gotten from EN2 since it's been out, just saying. Maybe I'm just on at the wrong times, but I think more players need to learn how to report effectively. |

Katburger a dit : You must not be on when I've been reporting, then. I spent three or four days reporting with similar messages like, "Spamming, doesn't speak English on EN2," "Harassing users on EN2 in Russian/French/etc" (I can only tell because I've been exposed to the insults in other languages on here. xD) or simply, "Not Speaking English on EN2." Granted, I sent a few that didn't include the EN2 part in the begining, but I quickly changed that. I guess it's just the times I've been getting on and actively playing. Mods don't seem to get my reports and some players don't see the problem. Although, it happens often enough that I can name off some active, non-English-speaking users that I see just about every day. Of course, I'm not about to publically. |

If only 1 person reports, we don't see the report. Helps prevent report spam etc, honestly though /ignore is your friend. |

The thing about all this that still escapes my grasp, is the reasoning behind these foreign players purposefully going out of their way to change their server to EN2, and proceeding to use the main chat for foreign languages. It's like them throwing it in our face of "Haha, you might have your own community, but I will still come here and use a different language just to make you mad!" I just don't understand why people do that. |

Last time i played on EN2, it was extremely quiet. And the only other languages i saw were from people who whispered me. So, is the "filter" basically blocking people from talking depending on IP? |

Lewbot a dit : what about hacking? o.o I know many players simply ignore hackers, and so no justice is done T_T |

Oh yeah, you need more than 1 report of the same player before it shows up. Have I got that right? |

No, I agree with Hetchi, EN2 is full of non english speakers. They may be silent for a while but once a tribe member or a friend joins their room, the chat is completely flooded. I've noticed there're more French players than BR and EN players and they usually come from one particular tribe. After saying that, the majority of mods are excellent at diverting them back to their home server. |

There was a French player who I reported; he only spoke French when his tribe member came one. When he was alone, he was a real sweetie and now he's a friend. Thankfully FR isn't as bad as the BRs. They don't say ALGUEM FR AQUI when they go on the server. Thunderai a dit : Yep. (I'm not a mod, but a mod explained this to me once hah) |

Lagiacruss a dit : yes, and if only one person reports a hacker then nothing is done. |

Lewbot a dit : That's the problem with the failsafe, though. You never know who doesn't speak English until they've spoken... so how are we supposed to get people gone? We can't just go around whispering to people looking for help because it's a toss-up if they'll understand us or try to voteban US out. I think it's annoying when people spam with /ban and whatnot, but what else are we supposed to do? Irishcow a dit : And yes, this tends to be the trend with this... and it isn't just 15 minutes, either. They'll all come rushing on at once and stay for a few hours. They often come in pairs, as well, which just brings in others. |

Yeah that single report doesn't count thing is shit, no wonder none of my reports seem to get seen to. |

they tell us to /ignore but they made the server so that it was SPECIFICALLY ENGLISH SPEAKING ONLY 10/10 |
