Necrobump! Since the implementation of the Community Platform people are ignored permanently when using /ignore. That is, they get listed on the ignore list until you manually remove them again.

So while this suggestion wasn't too useful in the old situation, I think now it would actually come in handy.

You can just ignore someone and unignore them when you want to stop ignoring
