Well one thing the leaderboard does help is quell incessant statpadding.
If it didn't exist I'm guessing more people than just idiot brazilians that are too stupid to figure out how ratios work would stall the room when babby didn't get their first.

I dont think stats should be removed at all , if it was to be removed you can kiss a good majority of players good bye along with it as that would be removing the competition in the game. tribes,players,minigames anything you name it , it has its bad sides but also its good

Agreed. Thejkb quit after that. He .. could of made it back. He said that it's not that loosing it's first. He lost not to just one person. But lots. Because Blackwave was a shared acc. And. Now hes just quite :P

Tranna---I remember when Thejkb was at the top. It kind of sucked when he got beaten...in almost every room someone was shouting the news about Thejkb, the guy must've been bummed out...
I think on cfm they only list some pro people; not enough of the noobs that don't have a thousand firsts..

I really want either Ponz or Thejkb to be back on top, otherwise I don't care for the leaderboard.

The leaderboard is a way for hardworking players to show off their work, but as mentioned above, it's also created many statpadders which are really annoying if you're just trying to get saves and you have to teleport them to the hole, etc. Players "enjoy" the competition, agreeably, but it can also cause many disagreements. Remember, all of CFM's information isn't always accurate. I don't exactly think the Cheeseformice leaderboard should be exactly removed, but I do wish there would be less statpadders and more people who played the game just to have fun.

I bet about a 1/3 of those players that are featured on the leaderboard are shared accounts.

But just because CFM's leaderboard are down, that doesn't mean braggers and padders are going down with it, they'll be there no matter what.
