Look, Its as simple as this. Impliment a rule saying if you won last month, you cannot win again. You still can enter maps, You cannot win though.

This is an old thread about a brief break between contests around a year ago and doesn't apply to why the contest isn't held anymore.

The reason why, at least from my understanding, is mostly due to a lack of support on the mapcrew end of things coupled with a rising amount of poor quality maps that hardly make the contest worth it. So implimenting a rule like that wouldn't help the current situation at all.
