I use Paint Tool SAI for my drawings, and to shade first I set down the base with a layer set to multiply, using the pen tool, then I texture it with the brush tool. With the more detailed fur, I just use some multiple layers and set down random shaded and lighted lines with the brush tool. If that makes sense. I'm bad at explaining things. Also, thanks ;;
