The point of an event is to have fun. I personally didn't have much fun with this most recent one.

There's a difference with wanting everything fast and not having to sit at your computer 24/7 to be able to get the items.
I got lucky. I got all my titles in one spin. But I didn't get the items because I got busy.

Well it goes back to my first point. Not everyone can devote hours upon hours waiting for their luck to chance them anything new. So yeah, I'd much rather get the things in the short span of time I can.

As for your second point, 'different strokes for different people'.

That said, Christmas is usually my favourite event so hopefully it's something good.

the point is NOT to get everything
thats what makes events fun.
getting everything kills the fun in the event.

They should stick to collecting gifts imo, it's way funnier than waiting for a map 50 times a day to get something. I also want back the advent calendar - atleast you have to do something ONCE a day, not only collecting candies over and over and you get nothing at the end :(

This was nice because it actually gave you something to do for the duration of the event, instead of getting it out of the way in the first day. I like that concept.

Indeed, advent calendar was a perfect mix of maintaining the interest in the event, but also not becoming repetitive, nor was it luck based.

I personally go back to my regular TFM life and not worry about getting a crappy item that I won't wear ever again.
