I know that We already have notifications in the chat, but I think that would be easier to have them somewhere where We could notice it. Let's say I'm not usig the chat. I can miss a lot of things. I could only see the whispers. The pop-up doen't need to be so big, just to get out attention.

The example in the OP seems far too intrusive to me, I wouldn't like something so big showing up on the screen when that could be the vital part of a map I'm about to go over to complete, for example. Even the smaller things such as counter at the bottom-right part of the screen during events can get in the way.

If there are notifications, personally I'd prefer they stay off of the map's space.
Of course that'd only be possible with the AIR standalone (which is being scrapped soon anyway) so I don't think it'd be the best possible solution to make it available to everyone. I would like to see something like this implemented to the standalone if a notification feature is ever implemented however.

No way should should pop ups come up on the gaming screen. That's the worst idea ever =_= I would even consider quitting if that was made.
But the little window that tell you TFM related messages when you're on Facebook or whatever, that'd be good.

Someone might spam it and cause lag, it would be annoying to mice or shamans. Very helpful, could also determine hackers possibly!

Bad idea...there already are these notifications. But maybe a feature like "/tnc" that opens a tab for all notifications that you get while you're online would be a good idea to add.

This is needed so much!!

Ew no that gets in the way and is way too distracting.
It already tells you when a friend logs on/off and when a tribe member logs on/off.
For a shop item its not that hard to check the shop to see how much cheese you have.
Just check the forums if someone quoted you, it's not that important anyway.
When someone whispers you its already pretty obvious and easy to notice because of the colour.
