I agree the older players in the community are definitely leaving at an alarming rate but when you put a number on something that was for a limited time only of course it's gonna happen because it isn't like the newer community that has people come and go everyday.

I wouldn't say Transformice is dying, just not at it's best right now. I'd definitely say that little parts of the game and community for myself personally have though but there's nothing anyone can do about that.

Okay, 30k is a large number so what... It use to be 70-80k and now its 30k, Its decreasing, no one ever said it wasn't a big number

It's been like that (30k, 40k-50k at rush hour) for almost a year and a half, so I don't think it's "dying"; it has decreased indeed, but that decrease occurred ~two years ago (pretty much after the fraises update), and it's not decreasing anymore.

2 years ago the playerbase was probably double of the current one.
I think 1 year ago the playerbase was like a third higher than today.

I can agree with you that the playerbase stagnated in the last 6 months. In my opinion, this is the result of a rather successful summer event (hunting relics).

Overall numbers might be lower than three years ago, but the feeling of the game hasn't changed. Most rooms only have 25 mice in them, and always have done, so an average of 30,000 people on a server doesn't exactly mean it's going to be hard to find a game.

Go in room 1 on the Brazilian server in the evening and dance with 90-100 other rats and then ask yourself again whether there are too few players :D
