Even though I played in 2010/2011 I don't believe everything was so much better. I think 2012 was the best year for me since I met two amazing people that year, plus many more. I hope for the coming years to be even better though, even though I'm starting to feel too old for the game.

I've watched alot of videos on transformice of how it was in the 2010 - 2011...

2010-2011

I loved late 2010/2011, those were the days I was obsessed with survivor and it was just so fun (Not that it isn't now).
I do still enjoy present Transformice, don't get me wrong.
Though I wouldn't mind having a blast from the past once more (WHERE ART THOU TIME TRAVEL MACHINES?).

Like everyone else stated already, 2010-2011 was the best!

Mostly just because it was simple and fun.
When survivor wasent ruined by meeps, totems, hotkeys and skills
Honestly though, i REALLY want those things removed from survivor.

I have the view that shaman skills was nothing but a detriment to this game. Takes away the simplicity. Skills such as springs, the ability to teleport mice, bubbles, etc. have taken away the competitiveness the game used to have. Reaction time. Scaling boards. Even simple wall jumping that used to be the fundamental skill that separated people that were casual, skilled, and greatly skilled players (based on speed of course) has been all but made useless. Sometimes the idea that in order to further something you have to always add new material isn't correct. I hope this survey might show you that.
