I imagine with all the negative feedback (again) they'll most likely remove it, or in the off chance could this possibly be a bug? There's no announcement for it, not even a small one in the one thread.

I really do dislike the fact, that they force it upon us. Some nicknames with that [bubble] can seem really bad. Just few minutes ago I saw a guy with [shi] and another [slu].

I'd rather have an update, that gives us an option to change how we see the chat box and the username's (Even if we have to buy it for cheese or fraises).

Not many remembers, but at the day, when they changed how our usernames look into that gray box, they did put this one:


I personally fell in love at the instant. Since this thread is focused on how the chat bubble above the mouse looks, why not bring back the topic on nicknames as well since it's pretty much the same thing.

I'd vote for admins to make this stuff optional. The old stile, the new stile and some additional ones as well. I think it can be a profit for them and make the community more or less happier. I know that most will say we will get used to it, and we do get used to it, but these small things do make the game more enjoyable in my opinion.

The reason I dislike it, is because as said above, the names can appear inappropriate like [shi]; [slu] and so on, and it just seems unneeded, also to that it just doesn't seem good. I know admins can have better imagination for style then that. For example a picture bit above, it was really well made for as a display name, and I know something cool can be made for chat box as well, without putting a lot of things into it.
Also why not consider making it buyable with cheese or fraises? I'm sure some old players would love the old style, and newer might like something flashy, or well made. I personally if I could get that display as in my post above picture, I'd easily give 500 fraises for it, without a single shadow of doubt about it.

Id be fine if you guys let us choose the nickname to atleast 4 letters so I could put SHIN instead of SHI..

because it's distracting, as is the chat bubbles are a distraction but to have a different colour now..
besides, it feels redundant. we likely already know who is talking, i don't think we need to know the first three letters of their name.
at the least, make it so we can turn bubbles off.

Of course a rather huge portion of players hates being addressed by the first three letters of their username, and they would rather prefer being addressed by a 4-6 letter nickname.

Idk, its been used in other games so im just throwing the idea around, but yeah anyways, taking the bubble off would be nice.

I'd like it better if we were able to set it as a nickname instead of the first 3 letters in our name as others and I have said before. 3 characters isn't really enough and I'd prefer at least 4~6 characters. The reason I don't like this update is because it's forcing something on me that I don't want to go by and I'd like it if we could turn it off and even then only have it be visible to friends.

I personally don't mind the change but I would prefer it if we could edit our nicknames because I don't like 'Are' showing up in the bubble .-. (I'd rather be called 'Red')

If the chat bubble is supposed to help make it more clear to see who's speaking, then I think it would be quite nice to choose which 'part' of your username you'd like to appear in the bubble.

Choosing what 'part' you want from your username means that you can choose what letters you want (but I suggest that the letters must still be in the correct order as they appear in your username); and it also doesn't go against the idea of making the 'author' of the bubbles more clear (-if that WAS the idea anyway...)

A large number of people seem to dislike the new bubbles, so maybe a 'disable feature' button would also be nice.

How about moving the existing username that's displayed over a mouse's head up a little, rather than overlapping it and displaying it there twice?

Two slight issues, It makes people read my name wrong, as yog-i rather than yo-gi, and the box is less transparent than it used to be, so it obscures the play area more. I already turn off my own name and all clothes to keep things more visible.

I'd like the option to turn off all chat bubbles.

Such disgusting update brought and ruined the game completely, that said, you cant even bootcamp properly without someone spamming the black speech box. I say this has to be changed into a transparency box, or be removed. There isn't going to be a problem if its removed so why has this update been implemented in the first place?

Problems: This update is causing problems when playing and is flawed in may ways such as overlapping.


and you cant see certain parts in bootcamp and other rooms.


Solution: I think there should be a option allowed that disables to see this.

not much to explain really. it's another change i won't ever get used to (second being the cafe layout update). to be honest, it just seems kinda cluttered to me. and really, i don't want to be called "lil" (ingame account's name).
just a question, but will there ever be an option thing to change which style you see? cause some of us might not like this update, but some might. the way we can make a compromise is to have an option for the new style (this could even go with names, too). even if you guys don't have it planned, if you thought about it then that'd be amazing ;o;
