This is a good idea, however if I could just tweak the idea a little -

I would rather have the consumables being automatically disabled in every map for the first 20-30 seconds. It's a good way for the shaman to build something safe enough to save the mice from mass death; and consumables would still be available instead of turning them off completely. I support regardless.

I think that the consumables are a great feature to be adding into the game but the only issue is when you are typing someone can knock you off the edge with a snowball or a ball. This doesn't occur very often but it can be a real annoyance when it does happen. This suggestion is most likely not going to be added into the game.

Is it possible to be in a room where consumables are disabled for normal mode and vanilla?

Musicaholic a dit :
No support. Just doesn't seem necessary. It's not that hard to dodge or tank a snowball anyway, and most of the mice that get killed by it are AFK so to me it's not that much harm done, because I generally don't like to give AFK mice free cheese anyway.

You clearly haven't had all but three mice in a room of 25 get killed by snowballs within ten seconds of your shaman turn because the spawn area was this teeny tiny little platform surrounded by bottomless pits. I also feel pretty safe in saying that it's not mostly afkers that get killed when nowadays I can't seem to take my fingers off the arrow keys for a second to type a whisper while I'm waiting for the shaman to build without being killed.

I'll look at another tab for a few seconds while the shamans are building, and when I come back I'm dead because I got hit by a snowball or some other inventory item... very annoying :c

Support.

Consumables aren't and shouldn't be important to this game. Anyone who played before the summer months should be aware of that too. Consumables are just filler for the old items we used to get so more than 3 or so titles don't usually have to be given in an event.

Either disabling or severely nerfing the snow, please. And maybe not adding more one throwable thing per event would be nice. We don't need beach balls AND snow seriously.

Well then, you're playing with the wrong people I suppose. I've experienced that a few times, but not quite as often enough to complain about it. *knocks on wood*

Either way I don't think this suggestion would be practical and it would probably make a lot of people unhappy. What's the point of hoarding consumables if you can't use 'em half the time? (Keep in mind I very rarely actually use consumables, I'm just thinking about how it would affect those who do like to use them).

If something really must be done about the consumables then why not just remove mouse collision from them? That'd solve a lot of problems. People would still be able to use them when they wish, but they would be less problematic.

Trust me, I have tried so many rooms and none of them seem to be immune :( I leave one room after witnessing such an event and the same thing happens immediately in the next.

That would totally be a great solution to me, actually.

I can agree with many of the views on this page, to be completely honest. I still support it though because i for one get annoyed quite easily and the fact that so many mice think its funny to throw snowballs willy-nilly around and shoot others off the edge for their own amusement is rude and ridiculous and i honestly would use it a lot. If shams could turn their things on/off it'd make it a lot easier to sham so you aren't losing the majority of your saves to stupid mice and you aren't dying yourself.

As for AFK's, yeah i dont care much about em but as for the active ones.. Id support it. :u
Just my opinion.
