As others said above, people can post porn/gore/screamers when the cafe has enough inapp content.

Also, why not copy and paste a link to an image?

Do you have a grasp at all how difficult that would be?
Like yeah you could block obvious porn sites but what about images being posted and reposted on Imgur? It's not possible to filter that, so it's better to just not have it. If you're so lazy you can't take the two seconds to copy and paste a link into an extra tab on your browser, that's on you.

It's a nice idea in theory, but it would not only take more game resources to load images but is too easy to promote foul behavior that players wouldn't have seen before unless they copied the url.

Over all, the risk is greater than the reward in my opinion and would bring way more chaos than fun.

Plus someone could post a really long line of images so the spam would be even worse

This would allow people to post inappropriate pictures that could be triggering or just plain foul.
Plus, it would basically just give the mods even more work than they probably already have; we don't really need them scurrying about, trying to punish every single person who posts something bad.
