This happens to me sometimes too.

Just did that to me, the egg was grayed out; so I touched it and went in the hole.

There is 2 eggs on a dual shaman map in vanilla, and I touch both of them and went in the hole but none of them counted.

Recently happened to me too, three rounds in a row

When you earn grafitti,nothing will appear in the corner

Keep in mind I created this thread before they changed the method of getting consumables, and this is still going on. I'll update the OP when I get home to clear up the confusion.
