i just had a great idea... making some items in editor to be invis or slightly invis! here's the catch: there will be a scroll bar near your ground selection. what it does is it can make your ground slightly invisible or make it COMPLETELY invisible.. uses for this is like if you wanted to float, you used to have to look up the thing to try and make the invis ground called "erreur" which can be difficult.. and take a little too long, but now, it only takes a simple scroll bar to do it right away! no more copying and pasting map item codes to make a simple ground or something, let me know what you think about this idea! i hope you like it! =D

you can already make grounds invisible by editing the xml of a coloured ground to "fffffff", that is 7 f's. there are other methods but that is one of the most common.

@sarkazm, instead of wasting your time of doing that, why not use a scroll bar that makes it change its visibility MUCH faster than a moderately complex XML code

because implementing a function like that takes a considerable amount of effort for mere convenience

No support. Why?:

Lemodile a dit :
Through XML editing it's already possible to make grounds completely invisible though. To do that, you need to add m="" to your ground's tag (<S> tag is for grounds). If you use colored rectangles or circles you can also achieve invisibility by putting an invalid color code in the XML.

Opacity could be pretty fun.

yes and if you use invisible grounds with line art you can actually get "grounds with opacity" (though it's not the ground itself, it's the line artm just with an invisible ground over it.

no support, the admins got way better things to do since this can pretty much already be done.

and also if you'd like to argue "this way would be easier" well from past map editor updates it seems now everything is XML, so they aren't going to make opacity on the select screen, because it'd be way easier to add that in just by XML for the admins, so nothing really would change :/ it'd just be a slightly shorter XML tag
