Because there are more new players than old players and are using the slot machine way more so the chance of one of them getting picked is higher because they are more and yes that doesn't exclude the fact that it's luck based so everyone has an equal chance.

I don't think its luck considering many people who play a ton never win, but people who play once a month with under 200 total cheese spin and win it..it's been like this for years. You can't tell me the people who play a ton never win while those who barely play are just that lucky?


Seems to be another factor so that players who have a lot of friends and such won't buy a ton of stuff and give it out to everyone they know if they had all those candies. Just seems a bit suspicious to me, and yes I know how slot machines and luck work. It's just far too weird I've never seen someone with over 20k cheese gathered win in what, 3 years of this same event?

that was very crude of you, the new players wouldn't even get advantage of the jackpot nor can trade them back into their main accounts (if they do have one though), which results in a waste of time + you have to earn the jackpot again in your main account but there's a low chance of it happening because it's luck based

The only purpose of the jackpot is to attract more people to be active on this game, THEREFORE they get more money and popularity, why would they risk their reputation to make the jackpot to only give for the newest... I think you're missing the point. What Smartiewolfs is saying is that she concludes a more "favorable chance" (from jackpot observation) for newer players to win the jackpot rather than ones playing for years. People who played for more years obviously care more since they are the ones who (might've) supported the game since the start, and might feel cheated out of a jackpot win since the more recently-joining players (or maybe some alts) are the ones winning this big prize.

The only possible explanation I could say is that more people always join the game after a few years of game launch. Like when there's a small player-base in the first months that expands to [insert population multiplication factor here] the original amount in a matter of years. That's why there could be more year 2013+ accounts in the server database than ones created before that specified year. Maybe the year 2013+ accounts outnumber the year 2012- accounts 5:1, who knows.

i like how alot of you are saying only new players get the jackpot even though jillfuzzy has won it and she's been a member since 2013

I do agree it's getting weird. I always see more new players winning the jackpot. It's quite unfair.

I have noticed this last year and the year before. it's usually the newer players who get the jackpots.
I've been a player since 2012, and I have never once gotten a jackpot, no matter how long I've played, but the newer players are here, getting the jackpot easily. like?? where's the logic in that??
