I don't think anything bad will happen to transformice.. I just think my tribe house will be boring without the videos.

but why youtube? yes, some people did abuse it in the music rooms but.. why did this have to be done?

Yes. The reason i brought this up is because i wanna share some bad news for you.

Also some mice abused music room by adding videos that are not music and some mice used vulgar songs. I stopped going here because of boredom. Just being silly.

There's nothing they can really do about it except replace what's there without having to remake everything(?) -- Unfortunately whatever's out there won't ever be as good as Youtube (Besides Twitch but that's a different story and website as a whole).

I don't think much (If anything) will change from this, besides maybe less videos to choose from. Nekodancer? I'm surprised that game still even exists. Considering it flopped after it's first week (In my opinion).

It seems that they are concerned for the videos.

Since Youtube is being replaced with Vimeo there are less chances we can hear good songs other then the songs we don't like to hear. Like for example, many our-loved songs are restricted by being removed due to copyright. So is likely to have Music rooms being shut down which will affect many mice.

Uploading video sizes: Approximately 0 - 200mb (depending on quality, length and encoding codec)
YouTube: Allows an unlimited number of videos per time period
Vimeo: Allows 500mb of videos per week, and 25gb per year (50 weeks)

Universal restrictions:
- Age restrictions (18+ videos cannot be played)
- Country blockages (Similar YT/Vimeo videos will be still blocked in countries)

Nekodancer restrictions:
- Video must be shorter than 10 minutes in length (Most likely universal)
- Video must have at least 1000 views (YouTube only??)

YouTube restrictions:
- Video cannot have been edited in some way (notable example: cropped)

Vimeo restrictions:
- ???

Vimeo is restricted on upload size but YouTube is not.

If we created another kick drums there should hopefully not be a views restriction otherwise we would have to gather the Nekodancer community together on this neko-specific user every time to get the video to work (and also get it to work with other videos too).

As for watching for leisure, well.. you're going to have a lot of trouble with that. This will pretty much make it harder and much more tedious and troublesome for everyone.

In conclusion:
MP3s only: Impossible bc/ copyright.
Vimeo: Extremely tedious and song choice is limited and could be even more restricted by a minimum views limit.
Recoding in html5: Extremely tedious for the admins and unlikely because Nekodancer doesn't earn revenue.

Shutdown: Likely.

So we don't have any choices for Nekodancer fans and it would be likely to have rules fooling around.
