Exactly this. That word could've been used against them bullying them, et cetera.
You hold no right to determine what triggers someone, so you shouldn't use words that potentially could.

This sums it up. If you aren't aware of what can get you muted, you need to re-read both the game's terms of agreement and rules (both of which you agree to abide by when you play the game). The game's rules explicitly states that xenophobic slurs such as the word "faggot" aren't allowed to be used in the chat as they're offensive to a large group of people.
