Maybe hard scrolling maps would do.

Basically, it'd be like another "script" map. But, it would be slightly easier, without all the portals and what not.

I also think that an example of a map would be helpful, to understand how it'd look.

No,I'm thinking of maps with obstacles and some places where the bot will shoot cannons.Just like Tower defense,but,the bot is the one shooting.
