But I suggest removing the post within 24 hours starting from its creation.

I think they should only be removed by the original creator once they think the topic is no longer needed. If this is a distraction, a tab may be more handy but for now it's more of an idea

Perhaps they can remove the older announcement when a new announcement comes

I had in mind that the posts made by staff which aren't important or noted on top, will get knocked down each topic slot everytime a new topic is made by a staff member. This would allow players to view older announcements before it's onto it's last slot and deleted automatically.
