I think having an increase to the cost would be better, maybe 350 in currency or perhaps have it be a one time use feature. Unless your changing it for a mere spelling/grammatical error, tribe names hold a lot of significance.

And inb4 it actually happens, but if they do implement this option, I think Atelier801 will have it similar to username changes, requiring a substantial amount of fraises to do so. ((:

I don't see it happening as creating tribes with fraises has been denied, renaming would be the same case.

edit: unless you were referring to cheese being a substantial amount to change the tribe name. oops

I feel the option to change the name should be in the Options, not when you click the name. That's kinda weird.

A username change and a tribe name change are two completely different things. The problem with changing a tribe name is the fact that people joined the tribe specific to that name whereas a username change is personal and only affects you.

I would support this idea if the tribe members were given a heads-up a few days earlier. Something that comes to mind is when the leader changes the tribe name, it will take 2-5 days for the name to actually change, meanwhile a pop-up appears to the rest of the tribe about the name change in question.
