I think my favorite map maker is Temple, but ImpureDeath are geat too. Jamiison, Killerlux and Duesoul makes greats maps.

Temple, without a doubt.

Not only because he made "good" maps, but because each of his maps has an innovation of its own. He is probably the father [and God] of mechanism maps. In fact, he made mechanisms back when there were only *TWENTY* grounds to work with. And check this: He has *FIFTEEN* P6 maps.

Temple never entered a map-making contest that he didn't win, and most P6 mapmakers have benefitted from his innovations in at least one point in their careers. The only reason he was never a mod is because he refused the offers given to him.

He also helped pioneer things like the no-B glitch and the shaman room. Speaking of shaman, he has *TWENTY* maps in the shaman room rotation, all of which are below @300000.

As a testament to the map-making awesomeness that is Temple, I crafted this short quote:
"Great mapmakers are great because people love a particular map they've made;
TEMPLE is great because people hang on to their seats for the NEXT map he'll make!"

I think temples are overrated.

Temple, I agree 100% with Seeteegee, Temple is THE map creator. He's a genius in all sense of Transformice.

To be honest, this sounds to me like a matter of who played the longest. I won't deny that Temple is one of the if not the most innovative mapmaker(s) in TFM, but a lot of respect he has comes from how long he's played. CtG's quote "all of which are below @300000" kind of reinforces this.

Also, you can't lose a contest if you don't enter :P

I won't say I have a favorite because "the greats" all have at least one map I really love, and I can't compare completely separate categories like P6 and P3 when it comes to picking a favorite map either. I will, however, mention an interesting name that's been overlooked in this thread: Buginclaws. He's been making some very interesting maps. Not so much on terms of gameplay, but just "wow"ing maps.
