When you are making a JP joint and want to keep a ground on one plane, then you use AXIS. For example, <JP M1="1" AXIS="0,1" /> will restrict ground 1 to only move up or down. Conversely, when AXIS="1,0", then the ground will only move right and left.

Invisible grounds: add m="" to the ground in the XML

Translucent grounds: use Viprin's drawing tool to draw the ground with the opacity/transparency you want, you'll have to link your drawing to a ground in the map

#circuit uses the API to add those backgrounds, with tfm.exec.addImage. It's not something you can do within the map editor or editing the XML.

nope

but you can substitute with mice items that have collision in the editor. I remember doing this back when art maps used up a lot of grounds.

Even if you edit in the grounds to the XML they still won't show in the test map part.

I'd really recommend not doing this for bits of the gameplay that are needed, your map needs to work in both regular and minimalist mode just the same.

I need some info about my recent maps list, because Cfmbot hasn't been working lately and it's not updating the newest maps on cheeseformice and I really need to see my newest tribe house map I made for a contest, I'll be submitting it in a few days and I wish someone from the mapcrew could find this map for me.

It's my last map, code is about @6000000 and more and it's my first map in a year, shouldn't be hard to figure which map is. Thanks in advance.

you can't, you'll just need to load an XML that doesn't exceed 20kb, try compromising something, there's always a way trust me.

Also I wouldn't recommend 19.99 kb either because regardless of if it fits, if the map is laggy mapcrew aren't gonna want it. Use small lines for details, and large lines for fillings.
