I honestly always felt this game was directed towards 13 year olds and under.. lol
but this makes me feel a bit better about my age. :)

Anyway, yes. I totally agree with you. It really depends on the person, and not the number that changes every year.

Wow I wasn't even aware that this rule existed. o.O Coincidentally, my friend and I were discussing this the other day after this 8 year old child came to the room we reg in. There's nothing wrong with that, we have people younger than 13 in our reg room all the time, but this one started up a rant about everyone in the room swearing. We suggested they turn on the language filter yet they refused to cooperate but refused to leave as well. I don't mind having younger people playing but when they start annoying you to the point where you're not actually playing just arguing with a little kid it's ridiculous.

As everyone has mentioned age is irrelevant, I couldn't agree more. However, though that rule may apply to some people, from my own experiences it doesn't apply to the majority.
My friend and I also discussed there being a server just for children or something like that.

I'm sorry but I'm sick of this little kids. They are so ill-mannered and misbehaved. They are quite contumelious and oh my god it sickens me. They come around thinking they are all tough and they snap back at you if you dare say anything to them.

I think we all know they get away with everything. Whenever a sent isn't around they act all bitchy, but when a member of the staff suddenly posts, they act all innocent and suck up to them. And it's not only the young ones who do that, I've seen some older kids acting like this.
They think they can say whatever they want. They are so disrespectful to everyone. They also go around this forum swearing like they are all tough.

I'm also done with these brats lying about their age constantly.

I could go on and on but I don't think people want to hear me rant.

I have to agree that the age will not change things, if you ask me, the older kids 13+ are even more immature because they have been exposed to sexual content and swear words. I'm almost 13, and since I was 10 I have been using social networking and I rarely swear and I never join into the horrible conversations I see in chat. Most of the time I ignore these conversations... Transformice being Transformice, it has attracted the dirty lot of the Net. The younger kids just don't know how to handle things as much as the more experienced people... I have seen plenty of mature 10-year-olds, and when I was 10 people were amazed at just how mature I was. :/ It's just the website's bad luck that it attracted the people it did... I've been onto solely young-ages sites, and I have gotten many kids who are easily tricked. On the older-age sites, that are focused on art and writing, you find the mature people. And on sites like Transformice, games based on skill, you find the whole swearing-sexual-immature lot. It's just the type of game TFM is. :/

I'm happy to see a lot of children under thirteen who act nothing like the ones I see elsewhere. For this, I applaud you.
Sadly, the number of mature underage users is not as vast as the immature.

When there is some kind of situation in a public room, I come to help.
It MOSTLY comes ok in the end.

Some people look up to me/want advice from me.

It is getting pretty annoying but I am happy to help.

BTW, Most of the situations is about underaged people swearing.

In this other day a kid sweared at me and she was ONLY 6. (Well, I am eleven, and I am used to this already.)

Thank God, her sister caught her and she said she will have a talk with her.

Hope she becomes a good person someday. :)

I think it mostly comes down to the fact that the older crowd doesn't usually have much to say. In public rooms I notice that the majority of those speaking appear to be very young, or very immature (or both!).

Personally, I don't have any issue with younger people playing, as the game is intended as a child friendly one. I do, however, have an issue with the plethora of younger users who behave like a bunch of uncivilized nitwits.

As someone over the age of 18, most of the people I hang out with on Transformice are 18+. There are actually a lot more than you'd think. They're also capable of behaving just as poorly, I'm afraid. The ones I do hang out with aren't the ones chatting in the rooms, and are very well-spoken and mature.

I think what it comes down to is that most of the people actively commenting in room chat have a habit of being rude or immature.

Swearing in your mind is the best way to not hur anyones feelings

I started when i was 8, in 2011 so

I seriously hope in a future update this feedback is looked at, this madness has to stop. It's not right to have small children; who can't even reach the cabinet mind you, to go mouthing off like they are in some hardcore HBO reality...
