fnafmike a dit : The bowtie looks like it's facing forward too much, try pushing the left part of the tie to the other direction so it's more unseen. The ear facing us is a bit too small and the hole(?) in it is too wide, try making it bigger and cover up the hole more. The star tail item looks like it's glued on, you need to "wrap" it around the end of the tail, and make it a little bigger. I can't tell if on the left, the two black lines are whiskers or a signal of a grunt..? If whiskers, attach them to the face more, if a grunt, make it more noticeable that it's not the other side of the whiskers. Also, your feet and paws look the same, I red-lined them so you know what I mean. The feet are too far apart. I wasn't sure if the pose was "thinkin about life" or something, so I did a redraw of a walking pose. |

Am I allowed to ask for criteque of a cat animation gif here? Harsh is OK to a level, but just not toooooo harsh... uh, Im very f/cking sensitive It’s supposed to be windy on the gif. I just really want help to understand animation a little more, and possibly just criteque the first frame like a drawing on its own as well, not sure, whichever of the two you know how to critique, really |

griffincraft a dit : I'll leave a full critique to someone more experienced with animation, but I'd like to point out what I noticed in the gif; it's awfully.. slow. Perhaps if you sped it up it'd look more natural, for blinking that is. |

griffincraft a dit : Okay SO as I know about animations a lot [since I work on one studio] I can try I will not correct anything about the drawing[I will leave that to other people(havefunheuheu)] but the thing I noticed in the animation 1- Its Slow as music said above 2- Fur does not naturally move that way, even in the wind, its more likely to move around more and not just in one direction and then looping back 3- i noticed the fur getting bigger with each frame [the fur just expands a lot] • 1 I suggest using simplified fur for the ones who start in the animations, such as simple lineart with no extra fluff on it, Fluff is hard to animate for the begginers • 2 I suggest learning to make the image [if looping] LOOP yourself, drawing the frames till the end and not using the same frames, because it just looks really lazy ^^ and I will try to explain some things to you by animating myself, but you will need to wait a little bit >:) EDIT: As I dont have a tablet and a normal program right now here Is what I can show I tried to made a fast hair animation and a little fur on the neck, It sux cuz it old photoshop cs3 and a mouse but you will understand I hope The wind mostly flows in circles, while bouncing of the hair/fur, it will make it flow in the circle aswell SO I got lazy to animate more as I am currently doing something else I can show some of my non project animations that I am allowed to show This is not a loop but you can see I used a little simple no fur parts to NOT have much trouble, Used some still animation frames/layers in the sketch The ears are messy dont look at them but pay attention to the furr, it does not follor a simple pattern of JUST a looping movement, Its spazzy, as the wind is The hair is more heavy than fur and it flows the winds movement more soft I hope this... nonsense bragging [as I am a BAD teacher] will help, if you want some more explain, Message me directly through PM Sorry for the typos, I was rushing Dernière modification le 1422392280000 |

elmyszendo a dit : If you're going to make the mouse have no mouth, you have to bring down the nose more. Also, it was a tad too pointy. With the cheek fur, it looks to woolly and fluffy to me, try making them pointier. The hat looks a little too flat on the head, if you lifted it up more it would've been better. |

Conwolf a dit : I will try not too be too harsh ;; First, I noticed the ear looks a bit... Naked and hairless. It needs some fluff. The eyebrows are a bit too low, and the right eye (our view) is smaller than the left. The lips and the nose look a bit... Odd. Her arms look a bit too straight. Some curves would be nice. Last but not least, if it's a female, it has breasts (oh god this feels awkward). You can change the bust size however you want, but don't forget the cleavage if its big. Also the hair looks a bit messy. Here's the redline you asked for: Won't do the hair haha someone else gotta do. I'm not one of the bests, but I hope this helps! |

Conwolf a dit : ^Yw! kennymccap a dit : [size=7]omg is that bill The hair looks a bit messy, and it's going in every direction. The arms look really odd, like sausages. So are the fingers. His legs are a bit too straight, even as a male, it needs curves. Just a bit. His eyepatch is too high. The nose is a bit pointy (like a triangle [size=7]ILLUMINATI), and small. The fluff of his shirt, sweater or whatever, looks weird too. The shirt itself and his pants are a bit too flat, it could need some wrinkles. I guess this is all the critique I have ^-^ hope it helps. ↓You're welcome! Dernière modification le 1422540360000 |

shardpixel a dit : ill maybe draw a redline for this later, but firstly, i'd like to point out the legs' position because the mouse looks like it could fall backwards any second. also, it looks kind of weird when the rest of the body is clearly in a 3/4 angle, while the legs are drawn from sideview. and about the arms, they look kinda broken/twisted imo, that's why i'd suggest you to look up tutorials especially for the arm's, leg's and mice's bodyshape. //also, the leg looks like it's missing a piece near the tail. (///and, this is just my opinion, but you could've added fur somewhere else besides the head, neck and ears) Dernière modification le 1422654720000 |
