Not all people is enough good to share his xml right? You cant tell to me 'by looking someone xml at least we can understand how its work' , i've teach kind of xml knowledge on my country forum and i just throwing out my xml to them and do you know what the respond? Completely do not understand and they just submit the xml back with little change like add ground or reduce the friction. so you're alright we'll end up with thousands of simmiliar and terrible maps. I don't think it's the correct place to post what I'm going to write.. okay What do you think Map Crews, Players etc about the Specifc Map Requests. It was created by Impuredeath on June, 2013 and I think we are needing something like this to improve the actual map rotation with new kind of maps! For who don't know/understand what's it, you can read here. It'd help a lot mainly on P24 and P8 categories because we are not getting enough and interesting concepts to play on. How do you make grounds/coloured grounds that can be moved unanchorable? |

Its bit tricky but i can help a lot. Yeah this trick was still 'exclusive' for some ppl but thanks to mousechris tell me this trick (This trick really usefull on mech making nowadays) 1. Just add rectangle ground, then search the color code of the rectangle ground on the text editor (the base color is 324650). 2. Delete it! (c="324650" -> c=""). 3. Then, paste back to map editor and you will see the rectangle color turned into black and hidden (unseen) when you test it. But dont worry, the ground is still there and its now unanchorable if you dont put 'collision with ground'. Now the problem is the ground is hidden, you can draw the shape of the ground with viprin tho so ppl may able see it. Also as you say, its unachorable. that also mean its not collision with ground. So how to keep it on the map (not failing down), the answer is JP mech type. Just imagine it how to use it, good luck. BTW I have a question. Is there a new way to spawn mice in Map Editor? Apparently pressing M doesn't work anymore, or the command is glitched, since it just spawns some bubbles as if the mouse died instantaneously. |

not sure if this is the right place to post this question here, but what's with the influx of new valentine(?) themed P5 maps that seem to be mediocre in quality? the gameplay on these maps is boring, the art is pretty mediocre as well. please explain Dernière modification le 1453148640000 |

Yeah I agree with you that some of these maps aren't decent enough to become a high perm, but it's just for a while!! And isn't everyone who can create a perfect art with gameplay. The mapcrew needs tons of maps - It makes an enjoyable sensation when you are playing during the event. The same thing usually happens with Halloween, Christimas etc. I can confirm that all of these maps have at least the P1 requirements to become a temporary perm, so they aren't really bad to play on. If you do not like to see these maps, I'd recommend you to play racing, bootcamp, vanilla or anything but normal rooms. Try to use the Staff FAQ thread and a staff member might answer way better to you, if you still have any questions about this. |

oteacup a dit : If you mean making solid art, you have to manually add grounds behind your art. You can either make your art lines foreground to hide the grounds or manually put the grounds where you want them in the map editor and make the grounds m="" in the XML code. cheesezwheel a dit : No, only selected backgrounds from this link.(very laggy link). You have to use Viprin to make something you want if you don't like anything listed in that link. |
