I did this too except I was only half way done the solution and I just gave up... Still spent about 10 minutes though.

If it failed moments before then it obviously wasn't stable enough.

I managed to beat the map with V anchors without much of a problem, trying very hard with no anchors now though and I can't get more than half way before failing.

I think the problem was that I connected it to the cheese platform and anchored on top of another anchor by accident. Didn't actually need to put it on the platform though, so it was a bad decision on my part I suppose :P
