| I think with a parents permission they should be allowed to play. I mean they are good enough to take my money, I think if they are over close enough to the age limit, they should be allowed!!! - Tabitha's Mother |

Immagetcheez a dit : I've never in my life heard anyone joke about rape. Any examples in-game? |

Primeside a dit : I'm not quoting anything because I flee at the mention of "jokes" and "rape" But it's all over here, even on forums. Jokes, and mis-use of the word. |

| I do agree with a lot on this thread. For my age, I am a mature teen. Although some under-aged players do watch what they do and say here. *Again, SOME, mostly very few.* Like the others, people who are 8-9 swear like crazy probably to just be 'cool', but it doesn't make you any better. Like Katsatuma said, a lot of people just talk about sexual stuff and swear, and most of them can be much under 13. |

Immagetcheez a dit : I have to side with Primeside on this. I've never seen anyone make a joke about rape. Sure you could say the word is miss-used at times, but not in offensive ways. It's become a common thing in real life, and on the internet. Ie. "Oh man, we're getting raped!" in reference to a match of Call of Duty, or a Football game in real life. People frequently take it out of context and tone and consider it a joke about rape, while it's not. |

| Half of the community doesn't even know what 'Rape' means. |

| I was in a room, when someone asked for a gf, a random girl said she could be his bf, then they asked their names, cities, ages, even the school ans their facebook, they both said ALL that information in the public chat, the bf was 11 and the gf was 10 |

Gilcatmey a dit : I am sure it was a joke. If not, I'm still going to laugh. Ha. |

Tacnotah a dit : No. That's a really common situation in ES community |

Gilcatmey a dit : It's a common situation in the net. Some games have made a special 'marriage system' to respond to the gamers 'needs'. Etc: Maple Story. But back on topic as it's pretty obv TFM will never have a 'dating system' I guess this is what's gonna occur more and more. |

Gilcatmey a dit : Wow, that's pretty bad. I've seen the same thing in En, but it's usually been jokes and teasing from people I know. Shinark a dit : Yea, I've seen the marraige systems. Pretty stupid if you ask me. |

Primeside a dit : HAHAHHA REALLY? Do you play on a server you don't understand? I could count on both hands and my toes the amount of rape jokes I hear in ONE WEEK in a regular room. This is VERY common. As mentions of rape are triggering to me, I won't relay any jokes, but if you keep an eye I'm sure you'll see it. Tacnotah a dit : That does not make it fucking okay to use the word that way. |

Haruhitastic a dit : I never said it makes it okay to mis-use the word. I just stated that I feel people are sometime too easily offended by it. It's simply a word and nothing else. If rape were to be replaced with the word fart in the English language, would it to be rude to laugh when people 'rape'? (Rape then being to fart.) While this isn't the best thing for me to say, I think it gets my point across that words are words and they have little to nothing to do with actions. |

| When you find yourself triggered by the word and mentions of it, then you'll find yourself on another side of the argument. |

Haruhitastic a dit : I've found myself on the other side of the gun. Though I don't consider it much of a gun and is more closely related to a toy lightsaber. Slightly off topic (in my opinion), but if you find yourself offended by the mention of single words in a relaxed environment, then you need to try and get over it. I don't mean this to come off in a harsh or rude way, though you will probably take it as such. I understand that sometimes words hurt, but there is nothing to be done about it, and they're simply sounds given meaning, or in this case, letters arranged to mean certain things. Definitions and ideas may vary. Sentinel Edit: let's keep the skype info out of this please. ^ I didn't put my skype info into this |

Tacnotah a dit : On the contrary there's alot more things you could replace that word with. For an example: Merked, massacared, Slaughtered, Beat down, booser'd, shot up, and knowing that CoD or any other FPS related game (or any game you play online in general) you'll most likely hear fucked up and shat on too. It's still no excuse to use that word when there's so much you can replace it with. |
