Hello! ~ This is my first time posting on a critique thread, but I read everything. I'm extremely new to well.. art as a general rule, and just started using a new program this week (which is super confusing, but I'm getting the hang of it - Medibang Pro.) As I've just started really, I could use some tips and critique on the silly art I've done already so I can look to improve. I use a mouse, on a desktop, so it is hard for me to trace and draw lines/circles, etc.

Okay, judging from the eyes the light is to the left & front. shade mostly under furry areas, though don't furrget(heh) to make the good old diagonal shading. the top of his head should have some shadows from de hat and hair.

i'm not familiar with medibang pro unfortunately, so i can't offer any tips myself. :c but i'd suggest looking tutorials for the program up on youtube just to look at what certain tools do and to see if you can do any neat tricks with them! from looking at the program website, though, it seems pretty nice and looks like you can make great art with it.

right now, there are a lot of things i do notice. what caught my attention first was your linework. i know you draw with a mouse, so you don't have pen pressure. that must be why all your lines are the same thickness and why they're wobbly. look in the program for a stabilizer to help clear up those shaky lines! i'd also suggest going back with an eraser and erasing bits of the lines so some areas are thicker than others. like this:

also consider changing your linework's color from black to a different color, or even multiple ones to match the color inside of those lines.

speaking of color, you don't always have to pick the most vibrant colors! sometimes softer ones with pops of color look nicer. on the other hand, you don't have to pick flat out black and gray either. when i color black in my drawings, i pick a really unsaturated dark brown to look more like black so my drawings are softer!

you might also want to study some shading techniques. c: for now, try a flat shading technique (don't blur at all right now!) until you get the hang of where the shadows go. it will make your drawings look 10x better guaranteed. and when choosing your shading, don't just choose a color straight down from your color wheel. choose a warmer color that's also darker. IE:

I kind of put off shading from this since I'm not very good at determining where shadows should go.

I use the Medibang paint program and I use my fingers to draw and color, unfortunately I'm unable to purchase a tablet.

I like the picture alot ^^ one small thing i would like to see fixed is at the tip of the tail, it gets extremely skinny, its kind of like the tail is thick, thwn suddenly turns into a line, if you could maybe fix the thickness of it, but other then that, it looks really nice :)

Try studying human anatomy, and then implement your own style into it, since the limbs seem a bit flat. Or you could just study anime anatomy, if you'd prefer that. On both pictures, you should try and draw the shoulders a bit wider, since there's no space for the arms.
On the second one you should practise drawing in 3/4 view, or maybe look up some pictures and try to study them, although you shouldn't exactly copy them completely.

I recommend you start using references if you don't have the time to completely practice, since they help a lot, especially if you have a pose that contains lots of gestures and all of that.
Overall, your art looks pretty good!

you should make the head smaller (because it looks so big)! But, it's cute though

You can probably find reference images on google, and after that you should just practice <: Make sure to break down the basic shapes so that you know the general idea of what to draw, but after that it's mostly just practice, yeah
