Could I get some general critique?

This is the only glaring issue, your anatomy work and proportions are entirely dependent on the head for measure so nothing much can come from the rest until you have this ironed out.

Mm, yeah, I probably should work more on the heads. It's a bit difficult since I do a lot of heavy modifications when I do the head, and I stray away from the initial circle that I used as a base, but I'll try to change that. Thanks!

Hello ! I'd like a critique on this fan art I made for a Youtuber a little while ago. :^3
(His name is FarodGames if you wanted to compare the drawing with the actual person.)

Kinda creepy smile

Since this is a painting I will thus critique it like a painting. First of all the colours are gorgeous and there's nothing creepy at all about the execution of the face. You've chosen a limited pallet that works well together. The problem is not the lanky body or even losing the outside line of her face in the light, but the fact your subject's face and eyes leads the viewer's eyes up and to the to right of the drawing, off the page. This is a problem because the rest of your drawing becomes a figurative wasteland that the eye struggles to cross. It would be fine if the subject was clasping her hands because that would create an opposing line of composition to the left and help keep the eye focused. When painting, even a portrait, you need to be thinking of how the eye will move around the page.

Yeah I guess you're right. I'm just not that good for composition and I guess that's what's lacking in my drawings in general.
I will work more on it so next time I'll do better !

Shading isnt necessary, but i personally do think too that the head is too big and round
i actuslly tried to do an redline, but meh

Sorry but may i offer a small critiquw on your redraw? Its lovely but to me the mouse's nose and mouth are jutting awkwardly to the side when they should be facing forward like the rest of the mouse is. Just my two cents though

Excuse me @Yat0, I hope this isnt rude but all you did was take Cloudo's drawing and just superimpose your own style over it as though that's how Cloudo should draw. :/

@Cloudoflames there's nothing, NOTHING, wrong with a round head (in fact the only problem with your mouse is it isn't a perfectly circular head). I took the liberty of taking your style and moving into its next level of natural evolution to show you that you don't have to draw like everyone else to be able to draw.

didnt add whiskers or the horns but u get the picture

@spooks, it seems as though you've turned off pen pressure or set your burshes to 100% min

I looked at the brush i was using and the minimum size was at 5%, if that's what you're talking about. I didn't make the brush, I just thought it looked nice.
