For your curiosity's sake, I was in a tribe called "Militaires Sans Frontieres" when I was accepted as a staff member and didn't know a bunch of KwL members, I applied later because I was bored of an empty tribe.

It's obvious that someone that is already part of the staff has his road to moderation a bit easier. (duh)
That doesn't mean that they bad people or a*holes or else.
They just have to do their duty properly.
