when connection is bad.

im pretty sure there is a stand alone its called map pad ... though i may be mistaken and i cant download it on my mac so i dont know much about it ;c

we had a long discussion about it lol. the thing about mappad is that you can't test your map in it. The supporters for this suggestion want to be able to test their maps outside of TFM (for various reasons including bad internet connection etc.)

You say some people want a downloadable version of the map editor. Yet when you downlad stuff, it is more laggy :/ it's already there right on browser...

Depending on your computer and your connection, it might actually be better to have a separate program that doesn't depend on internet to work for mapmaking.

Of course, if your computer's graphics can't even handle TFM then there's nothing you can do. But assuming that your computer can, I would also imagine your computer can handle running an external program for mapmaking.

What's the differently ?

That would be nice. Really good thing, for those whos internet is like slower then a snail. 5-10kb/sec and lower.
