You don't get a 360 ban for using racism slur so either you did something else or your mute/ban history isn't that clear.

Anyway I know you have a grudge against me for whatever Harry so obviously you'd say that. Thus why mods favo some people and touch butts with others.

All the mods iv seen dont seem corrupt, but i wouldnt be surprised if some mods did favor certain mice.

The horrible truth of the matter is that mods are people. (Le gasp!) As people, they are just as likely to allow biases to influence decisions or to fall into true corruption as people are. The staff tries as hard as possible to avoid these incidents through heavy screening of players before hiring them, and for the most part this is effective.

This is why most incidents of bias or corruption are actually based on history--the determination of punishment can be based upon past actions of the player--or most commonly, honest mistakes. †

However, wickedness can slip through the efforts of the staff. If you suspect this unfortunate occurance, the best actions would be to first document it. (Remember, pictures speak louder than words and videos are worlds above pictures.) Next, I would recommend asking (politely) the staff member in question about the situation. Since most situations are honest mistakes or based on past actions, they may be able to give an explaination. If doesn't resolve your query or you continue to have suspicions, you can escalate it to your community manager through one of the contact channels like the contact page. Atelier 801 and the Transformice staff have profound love the the Transformice community and want to do whatever they can to better it.

I hope this can help resolve issues players have with staff members. Also, I would like to add that I am not a member of the staff, so this information is based on past experience. So if anything is inaccurate, please feel free to yell at me.


† Note: Honest mistakes can consist of many things like missing rule violation. If a staff member doesn't see a violation, they don't act upon it. Sometimes they may even miss something in chat or some hacking because they can be preoccupied with messages, multiple game windows, IRC, etc.. Other times they can be as simple as typos.

I think some are corrupt. I got a three hour ban once for no apparent reason

They aren't corrupt, they just don't do their job right. I get angry & cuss a bit & I get muted, but when there's a bunch of children spamming or being racist, they don't do anything.

I wouldn't say corrupt. I would say biased. Honestly almost all mods I know did be assholes to me. So if you treat me like an asshole I'll be one back for you. Sorry for my language kids.
There was a stupid fight about a chat with a certain mod, long story short they changed their story/opinion more then a handful of times, took sides, and i wonder who got the shit end of that. Deffinately not the Mod and him's/her's side. Nope I got away luckly, other people got warned.
I also do notice that if you do "Stalk" the forums/see what's going on the mods are more friendly then they should be, and take sides with the people they're a bit.."too" friendly with. So to answer you're question:

Yes they are and I see no purpose on why the heck why keep some of these mods. Honestly most good mods quit/leave, and I can see why.
TL;DR: Some mods should be fired and shouldn't be too friendly at their job.

I would imagine it very difficult to be nice to people who call you an asshole. Also, not hard to be nice to people who are nice to you.

what did you not read about them being an asshole to me? When ever i try and contact them I get very rude replies. So because of this why can't i be rude to them? if you bring up "fighting/war doesn't fix any thing" let me tell you, it fixes many things more then just going up asking for a apology on your knees.

Sorry if that came off as rude. What I meant was, have you really talked to all the mods? When someone you haven't talked to sees this, they're going to assume you'd be rude to them. Same goes for a lot of these posts. You can't generalize "All mods suck" if you haven't really met all of them in normal circumstances.

I didn't say all of them did i? "Almost all mods" isn't all mods is it?
No but most of the mods i talk to are.

But all mods who read that are going to assume you're talking about them. What people notice most are the few occasions where bad things happen, not the good things. So when someone receives a snappy reply from a mod, they're going to assume that the mod is always mean, or even so far as all mods are mean. At least you have more than a couple experiences to go off of, but most people don't.

I feel like I'm more likely to be warned/muted for misdemeanors whilst most mice would likely be left off with a deleted post, if that means anything.

No i'm pretty sure with the mods I talk to i contacted them atleast twice and they were like that. I'd suppose you don't under stand that moderators some what hate me. I find it sad that you barely even read the details of "Mods I met" and "almost all" including other examples with in a single paragraph, and jump to conclusions. Not being a bitch to you but you're making your self look stupid in replies that have been pointed out wrong.

No need to fling around insults, I'd just like to point this small thing out. Maybe since it's not past midnight, I can make myself clearer.
There's a mod you don't really know. He reads what you wrote ("most mods I met are assholes") so he's going to assume that you think he's an asshole and feel sad. Like if I said, "most people I met whose names start with B are cool," you might think that I think you're cool, or at least you might feel slightly better about yourself.
I hope that makes more sense.
