[TUTORIAL] Invisible Grounds |

If you are someone who is trying to save xml space, deleting the whole o="" part would be better than having o="ffffffff". The struggle is real with maintaining xml capacity. |

put it to T="15" and it'll show the ground. It'll stay the same when it becomes moveable too unlike regular wood |

I forget. Can we make circle grounds invisible and still dynamic while being connected to other grounds? Dunno how ;-; |

epalk a dit : Yes, yes, and no making it connected to other grounds needs T="15" but that makes a square or an error wood block, so sorry, but no :( but you can make a circle ground dynamic and invisable with making it's color disappear or fffffffff |

mousechris a dit : Ah ok thx, however, I found a way to do it!! lol. I added m="" after the T="13" and it made it possible to connect invis circle grounds. I think this is an old technique and maybe it could be added to the OP because I managed to do it in @3478848. So m="" should make any ground invis while still dynamic and connected. |

I'm curious, what was the original purpose of the m="" attribute? The m="" trick is a bit redundant but I find it more practical to use that instead of v="1" to make invisible water. Also you can easily turn invisible other kinds of grounds aside from rectangles and circles. But the main benefit from using m instead of invalid colors is that you can still see the grounds in the map editor. |

I needed to use m="" because dynamic and invisible circle grounds couldn't be anchored in the editor without it. (important for dynamic art maps lol) |

isn't that v="" lol (the despawn method) |

Epalk a dit : Oh? I thought that was m, then what does m do |

m="" makes the ground invisible and v="" makes it despawns after certain amount of time. Water is kinda different, because it only turns invisible after adding the v="-1" tag to it and is still on the map. |

lamentxthe a dit : Does this mean m="" is not a glitch but rather the original use of it. Because I was asking for the original use, and I've always thought it was a glitch. |

I am pretty sure that m="" is used just to make things invis. although using the other methods might be better to save xml capacity if you just need to make collision invis. |
