Meanwhile, the fur is hideous. I had high hopes when I saw it on the front page, then previewed it in the shop and it looks so so dreadful.

I really really love it but I can't buy it because I wasn't able to charge fraises for some reason qq And now when I try to again I just get a balnk screen when I click on the paypal option.
Woe is me.

But it looks really cute. It looks cute with my current items and stuff. I hope I can get it soon.

Remember when the fraises came out the admins were like: "Nothing unrealistic"+"There will be only a few furs that's why they are so expensive". Good lies!

Well, people can make the upper half of their mouse neon green already... one of the reasons why I'm using /nue all the time.

Imo, the colors of that fur aren't bad. Just the pattern... and that bulky shape - ugh. The other items look okay to me.

They said unrealistic furs; they didn't say you couldn't have a neon green bike helmet.

The shape is the same as the snow fur js

What I don't understand is how Meli - who is an artist, after all - can look at the game with all those neon-colored mice (which often don't look like mice anymore at all) and the solid color block grounds among overly-detailed decorations, where nothing fits together, and think that it looks good.

Has she ever looked at her game - the game as a whole, this huge clusterfuck of colors that it has become over time - and asked herself: "does this look good?"

Or is a coherent design too much to ask for? Am I the only one who thinks that less (colors, customizations, etc) is more?

Can't really blame them. More furs = more money.

To be honest I've only see a few mice that I cringe while looking at. Everyone else has enough sense to dress well.

Agreed. I've also seen quite alot of rather cool looking mice as well.

Was this new fur based on a design from the fur contest? Or is it for a special event? I don't really get why they'd suddenly add such an unnatural fur.
