Making a tribe costs 500 cheese for a reason, probably. So that people don't make a tribe to leave it again, to then start a new tribe, then leave it again, etc( which causes quite some tribe names being taken already ). Just be a bit careful with the name you choose, You should be able to have earned the amount of cheese back by the time you want a new tribe.

And I don't know, really. But it seems a bit troublesome to have people selling tribes to others and all, I doubt many people would like to buy a specific tribe as well.

I fully agree. You don't get a refund for your tribe, so it's either you do it and just have an empty hollow tribe all the time. And that's just sad.
