Xxninjazxx a dit : What exactly do you base that on? I met my girlfriend on Transformice and over time when our relationship grew, TFM has become the platform we use the least to communicate. In my case texts, skype and (skype) calls are much more common, and I'm pretty positive I'm speaking for everyone out there that's in an LDR. |

Xxninjazxx a dit : I know a few people who are in serious relationships and they are doing the exact thing Flip voiced. |

As much as LDR's fascinate me, to get back to the original topic I quote the original post. Gilcatmey a dit : Asking those questions does not mean they consider TFM a dating site. They're just kids wanting to look more adult by having a girlfriend/boyfriend (as has been pointed out). Whether this is something that should be moderated in some sense, I don't rightly know. Gilcatmey a dit : The people asking publicly may find someone with similar interests (and try to look cool together), but it's not so much about caring/worrying etc. On the other hand, long distance relationships have long been observed within TFM and proven to work for some (including me). |

Sabusha a dit : woah congrats you go girl and yeah it makes me kinda sad to read this thread for pretty much the same reasons sabs said my 2 year anniversary was like 2 months ago and I've met up with my mouse bf 3 times, in addition to him coming to stay for 3 months in like 2 weeks to the people saying that LDRs are impossible, fake, I have no respect for ignorance people who go in public asking for a gf/bf on tfm aren't looking for anything serious, they're just trying to show to their friends or something that they have a gf they probably do the same thing on any other game they play which is ridiculous i dunno |

As said before, there is a huge difference between people spamming for bf/gf's in chat and people who just happen to date online. I don't know about other's but for myself, I didn't join the online community expecting a boyfriend, it just happened. Which I think is what happens in most cases for long distance relationships that happen online from games like this. So, the whole spamming thing is a bit ridiculous, but that's their choice. They obviously aren't serious about the whole thing. They just want that status symbol. On the other end, I don't see anything wrong with LDRs, if you both are serious and want to be together then by all means. It doesn't work for everyone but it does for some. It worked out for me and now I've moved to where my boyfriend is. So, it is possible, it just depends on the two people and how willing they are to make it work. |

Just asking for a boy/girlfriend? This is nothing. On my community mice ask for a whole family, like sister, mother and dad. I don't have much against this if you want to have a joke or for the "lols" just have it, even I accepted once (very very very early of my days here) to be a "girlfriend" and I was playing a lot with a guy. I was curious and actually had fun helping each other. On the other hand, there are people ragging over a denial and taking it serious which is not good. Ah and also when it gets overloaded is simply annoying since this isn't a dating/find a family/roleplay website, they forget the whole point of this game. *flies away* |

Flipgraham a dit : Sabusha a dit : bless you both, you are angels Xxninjazxx a dit : I have 295 contacts on Skype. Of that number, I would say half if not more of them are people who I have met on Transformice or met because of Transformice. I also have a couple mice on MSN, including my boyfriend. My tribe has a WhatsApp group and I also speak with many mice on it. Remind me again how it's not happening? |

Methusalah a dit : That's more kinda funny xD, they are playing like the sims here I have been reading all the replies and still I have the same opinion, ''LDR are really hard to keep, but not impossible'' Btw because all the variation of discussion we got here, If a mod can I'd like to rename my thread with a title like ''Long dinstance relationships'' or ''Transformice Relationships'', to fit the thread name better cos all the discussion we've got is about a general LDR now so why not xD |
