Love the little heart and everything! Shading is fine, unless it's really confusing, but your shading isnt.

now real mice ahha.the girl's fur has a white marking (like a mask) on the face with a little mole which you can probably see ovo also the tip of the guy's cane is in dull gold uvu

Oh yeah, sorry for not responding earlier, I forgot. The answer is no, you just need to have some examples of mice. I won't accept you to contribute because I really want the great ones and not have a million prizes, and while your art is okay, it's not great.
