/no support sorry:( but if everyone was speaking there would be like a ton of voices everywhere and it would get annoying

1. Lag because then there can be a "BLAH BLAH OMG SISTER THIS IS COOL OMG I'M DOING THAT YEAH UH F*CK F*CK YEAH"
(Do not mute me, but really, people do that sometimes in chat)
2. Mice will get bullied like "OMG YOUR VOICE SUCKS GET AWAY FROM MY FACE"
3. Privacy. And they can spam their voices so it's obvious

I'm sorry, but with all the people on TFM that shouldn't be on the internet, this would be a screaming and insult fest.

My thoughts:

Also, as many before me have probably said, it could cause lag. For people like me, this lag would probably make my computer explode. And I'm only partially kidding about that... My computer lags enough as is.

People could also use it to say VERY innapropriate things, and it would also be hard for the mods, as they would also have to get the ignore system to work with it AND moderate it, that seems like a lot of work, as it might also be hard to pinpoint who is saying what.

Exactly. /no support, we already have a chat box, and if you would like to chat with other tfm users then you can use skype, your own tinychat room, or whatever.

If we could toggle it on and off, then maybe.

Another reason why I don't support this is because imagine how much voices would overlap in the game, and it'd be extremely difficult to identify the person who your talking to's voice, especially if you don't even KNOW how they sound like. Also, this could lead to bullying, as most people said.

Unlike some people, I don't have headphones/earphones, so I'd have to turn down the volume completely, in case of swearing and vulgar speaking. This would be a problem, since I like to listen to music while playing TFM. As Rosuuri said, we already have a chat box. I think that's enough for the game.

You know when you just log into Transformice and you get spammed with a lot of hate messages getting thrown around? Yeah.

There'll be even more teasing messages like:
"Your voice sounds girly,"
or
"What are you, a chipmunk?"

This can hurt the speaker, whoever they are, or just anger them. If they get angry, be prepared to silence your whole computer or turn it down so it's very quiet.

If they get sad, the victim can say this:
"Well if you think that my voice sounds like that, I'll just leave!"
Which would lead to:
"What are you, a wimp?"
This could also lead to fighting, quiet/loud sobbing, or just silence from the person who was teased.

As said before, NO SUPPORT.

I gave all my ideas on why I do not support this.

Edit: EN chat is filled with other-language speakers. You can't translate what they're saying. So they may be laughing behind your back, cursing at you in their own language, or worse.

There's just too great an age range for the pros to outweigh the cons here. Think of CoD.
