I hate it when random people friend me to try to stalk me. Its annoying, or if people that I just randomly met friended me, then like a week later talk to me in whisper.. Sometimes it just spooks me if I dont remember them.

Nice idea, would make things a lot easier. But then again I've friended all the admins to know when they're online... So I guess I don't really want them knowing I added them xD

Actually, that's one of the things I love about TFM - The ability to anonymously add people to your friendslist.

I sometimes friend people just to know when they're online - If I'd choose to behave badly, they could just add me to their "ignored list", and the problem would no longer exist.

And if people add me randomly, that doesn't bother me one bit.
