Looking back through my old stuff...and found this piece of crap.



I feel like I shouldn't do art anymore .-. I feel so discouraged now, since me and Kattie split up the joint thread. :( I thought that maybe my own thread would be better, maybe not. I don't even draw so much anymore because of school...... And I take so long on requests and they turn out really bad :( In my opinion, no one is really replying now :( I know I shouldn't take everyone here just to post....

Oh well.

I'll just draw something now.........

Vivihi, you shouldn't give up on art.
It's your opinion you think it's bad, as others may think it's amazing. People tend to think that other people are better than they are. I personally think you've had great improvement.
People can understand the stress and homework that comes with school, no one is going to yell at you for that. So what if requests are slow, that's okay. The only reason requests are so slow is because you are taking your time and school is really busy for you.
People might not be posting for a lot of different reasons. I look at your amazing art all the time and just don't post, many people probably do the same. They just silently admire your work.
Look at your fan-fic, everyone wants to be in it! It must be really hard trying to draw and write at the same time, so good job!
Don't give up!

Okay, I know they silently admire. I'm making this harder for myself. But I don't feel like anyone really likes my art that much. And I have improved, but I still think my arts aren't too good ;;

Don't be silly. Everyone feels lonely when no one posts. And don't go dragging yourself down with negatives that you don't have proof are true.
As I said though, people are always saying their arts are bad, it's natural for humans to be like that. Sometimes I think my art looks like shit.
It might be suprising but when you actually [honestly] say you are proud of your art, it makes both you and others super happy.

Stress everyone and anyone can relate too. No one is going to be mad at you for that!

And sometimes when I hate me art, I put my art in the art critique center and get critiques. The people there are really nice. Then when you edit your art and learn from critiques you will start to improve drastically and you will start to feel pride in your art.
Still though your art is really good and there is no reason for you to feel like they suck.

Like what Kattiej said, you should never give up. You're the only person who thinks it's bad, the rest of us think it's AAMAZING. You've got quite far in it and yuour style has improved a lot-why give up now? And we all have lives outside TFM, so people won't mind that you take so long.
