Apply for mapcrew can now be compared to apply for mod. Well, if we'll get less competition, the team, someway will keep itself with few members.

It's not about the "competition", there is no competition when recruinting new members, we can have 1000 members, if they all are good enough to be a mapcew.

I didn't mean a real "competition", I'm talking about people trying to improve their skills at mapmaking, trying to reach their goals. But most of people are lower than 18 years old. Then, they will not apply, unless they lie when sending their e-mails, something that you'll see too much.

Is that really necessary?

It doesn't have to be compare with Mapmaking you don't have to be a map maker to apply.

-90% apply's to mapcrew.

One of the bc examples is my own map, do i have really have to review my own map?

Yes, there are current map crew who are under 18. This is a legal requirement now that there is a company behind Transformice. All new staff need to be adults. I'd prefer no age limit, but this is what we have to do.

That legal requirement excuse is lame if the admins decided to keep those under-age mapcrew members. They shall voluntarily retire if they don't meet the age requirement. It appears absurd to me having some teenagers judging maps made by adult players, like you'd not mind having professors younger than you to give you lectures.

If you don't know, some mods are under 18. So those +18 requirements are lame as you say. Leave the +18-requirement for mods, but at least, make it free to mapcrews!
