The events are losing their glow. Events are a big part of the game..for a lot of players. Now..they just throw out old events with a few changes here and there. The updates are mainly just events. I think people want to see new and different things..and the closest we're getting to that is a slightly modified event. It would be more interesting for them to add some new features or items. The adventure points were sort of a flop..not gonna lie, at least from my general knowledge. I like the part where it tells you how many badges, adventures, and titles you have..but the points system? Nah...

Overall, they seriously should just add more NEW events that aren't as crazy competitve, and has better prizes. They also need to be clear with when an event is ending! It bugs a lot of people when they log on and an event is suddenly over.

i don't think updates make a game boring

In my opinion, I doubt the updates in the game make it boring. It might be the old events coming back over and over again.
