Certain people have certain words they don't want to see who are in their late teens and early twenties, or words that could trigger them and remind them of bad events. I don't think any amount of growing up will solve that.

Normally I would have the same mentality (the game is 13+ ra ra ra) but given how nice of a feature this could be so people don't have to look at certain words, I think it would be a fine addition.

The filter we have right now isn't that helpful. And sometimes we like to see/not see some words.

That's not very wise of you to say. If anything, trying to avoid vulgarities in any way shows people how grown up you are.
Your argument is also invalid because I know some people who are probably a few decades older than you that don't support any conversing involving cussing, sexuality, etc.

So just add the other variances too. That's not that hard.

Of what i've read the game isn't exactly 13+ , it's pg13, so you can obviously expect some kids here. This would be pretty useful, as i don't enjoy seeing some phrases either

Keeping in mind that if each individual person chooses the words that goes on their censorship list, people probably wouldn't go out of their way to get around the filters in order to affect that one person. Especially if the lists are private - then nobody would even know what you have censored anyways. So really, if this was implemented, I don't think a mass amount of players would change the way they type just to affect the people who actually do use the customizable censorship list. And if they did, then each time you found a new way that someone types it, you can enter it in once and never have to deal with it again.

I think this is a good idea. I wouldn't use it myself, but I know of plenty of people who would, and that is enough for me to give full /support.

Also, my apologies for the ridiculous amount of swearing I do on this site. I tend to forget that I'm not always around just friends and generally I assume that people who don't want to see swears use the filter. However, Transformice doesn't filter everything and that is bothersome. Why choose to not support this if it would people feel more comfortable on the site? Swearing is my forte but I still believe in not traumatizing young'uns.

There are people who are 13+ and don't like to hear all the bad words. It's not only little kids.

I can't even go on the dutch servers, so much swearing with the wrong words.
