Fxie a dit :

Oh, and I saw mention of removing balloons. My opinion on that:
Removing solid balloons, definitely. It's just plain annoying having to ghost them, to me (I've still never gotten over the switch from ghost default to solid default). However, balloons can be used quite ingeniously in builds, most notably to secure them around a ground with the strings. This makes things a tad bit easy sometimes, but I feel that it requires enough skill that it's still "divine", unlike say arrow anchors.

Completely agree. Might just make it impossible to make solid balloons (only ghost ones) in this mode. As Fxie sayed, balloons are useful for builds, but some tend to spam solid balloons for people to jump over long rifts like for example in map 25, and it makes the mode seem easyer to play

Alongside making it impossible to spawn solid balloons they also could be limited to 5 per round. I doubt that anybody with a reasonable build needs more than 5 to stabilize it.

Then you couldn't use divine mode for balance solutions :-(

I really don't like the "limiting" thing for any number of uses other than 1 (totem or single c nail), it's kinda funky to me and not in the good way. Maybe they could actually disable ballooning mice in divine mode as well, which would solve all problems and reserve balloons exclusively for builds.

This is the best idea.

The thing I have about posting builds you've done is the fact that most of the time, the builds were done in a private room where you're the only mouse. Try doing these builds in a room of 20-25 mice and see how well the build holds up. The last build Fxie posted would most likely have collapsed, if I am being honest. Yes, it is possible to build with these limitations; however, in a room with tons of mice moving all over the place, and putting more strain onto a build made with planks meant to move around, it can get extremely unstabilized incredibly quick.

Yes, it is easy to throw limitations around due to the fact the idea was made in room Shaman; however, I garauntee you room Shaman does not get nearly as much traffic as a regular room gets, and that is a very major factor to add in. Now, I am not saying that people who cannot build in Divine Mode (people who must resort immediately to the use of Springs and Balloons) should build in divine mode, but if you're going to post builds you've done in a private room, please make sure that they will actually stand up to 20-25 mice, the average amount of mice we are dealing with in regular rooms.

P.S.: The only people posting builds that have any chance of staying up, and not collapsing, are Occulus and Epifistu.

cheap solution:

If you wana build theres an easy trick for this cases, spawn a bloon-anvil-bloon and then spawn a plank over that:

You need to max out super anvil skill so it doesnt move up or down:

In my opinion I think the part for the arrows is fine, but I didn't like when some skills became a bit useless, in that case Chief's Food, which now the cheese is limited to 5. I don't know if it's a good thing or not, don't ask, but I got a bit uncomfortable just with that :(
