The map was taken down briefly earlier today so I could fix a couple of small issues with it, now that's fixed so it should be good to go and shouldn't be laggy and you should be able to see the background image properly. Sorry for that :(

It'll only last a week.

I'd love to have been able to work on a Canada Day map too, but there's a couple of things that I think could be noted about this:
• None of the people that worked on this map were American so it's not like we're doing it out of patriotism for our own country, we just thought it'd be a fun little thing to do for people to enjoy.
• Sometimes it's a case of just needing someone to be able to do the art for the maps. I wanted to work on some national event maps just for fun so there was something extra people could enjoy in the game to celebrate these days and Sabusha kindly stepped forward to do the July 4th map (and I also managed to find someone else to design another map lined up).
• If anyone has any ideas for event maps or would like to draw art for some, feel free to message me and I'm sure we can work together to figure something out.

It's not a heavy event. I don't see it needing to stay around more than a week.

Once you know what to do it can be done pretty quickly, and people are already figuring it out ;)

i met the event maps quite frequently this morning (my timezone), where it occurs every hour, but i didnt see it for the past 5 hours...

While standing at the top, waved the US flag, spammed random fireworks, spammed every emote. Nothing.

edit: Just took another look at the completed image and got a better idea.
Launch 2 fireworks while standing at the top of the left hill. (Would color matter?)
Go to the top of the middle hill and wave the US flag.
Go to the statue's feet and... not sure... Bow to it? In other words, duck?
(Is the picnic spot important?)
