A neat example of ignoring everyone who are enemies with you.

However this would also ignore your friends and you would feel bad for them. I think a friend-multi chat will help since whispers can only hold one mouse per chat.

Yes it is, /clear only gets rid of the current message in the chat.
This would prevent any new messages.

You can just start a convo with a friend and leave only their tab up if you really don't want the chat. If you're talking about like not even seeing stuff said above their mouse, well then I still don't see why you would get annoyed and need a room to not have it. Seems like a waste of time suggestion again and I don't support this.
