You are all gathered by some cruel and heartless god (me) and get left stranded on the docking area of this island. Populated densely with the deadly Golden Lancehead and other nasty fauna, you are essentially in a living hell (though you have enough provisions for each person to last three days, except no antivenom for anyone who unluckily gets bitten by one of the snakes). The Brazilian navy is on vacation and none of you have any possible means of communication to call for help. There fortunately happens to be a lighthouse (uphill and inland through rough terrain to your demise) with two lifeboats that have enough capacity for half of you.

That being said, who goes on the retrieval mission to get that lifeboat from the lighthouse and return? And who potentially dies?

After some civilized and calm discussion and debate on who gets to leave the island and get help, the lifeboats set sail. It will take three days for the lifeboats to reach the Brazilian shoreline and get a response team to come rescue the remaining half. Those who boarded the lifeboats reach the shore and get rescued in those three days. Sadly a tropical storm lasting another three days had to occur around that part of the Atlantic right afterwards, making immediate rescue impossible until the storm dissipates. Those who were left stranded on the island have to somehow live off the land's resources the latter three days and manage to stay alive.
